Cylinders
If you need to replace the secret cylinder in your home or office, you will notice that choosing a new cylinder will take time due to the different types of locks available. According to the level of security, for your convenience here, we have divided the locks into three types: - Standard security level cylinder locks - these are brass locks with 5 pins, and "Mul-T-Lock" has also produced a 7-pin cylinder; - Medium security level cylinder locks - pit locks, in most cases 6 pins, "Classic" - 10-pin system, "slotted" cylinders, cylinders with special pins against attack; - High-security locks - in these, in addition to the many combinations, manufacturers rely on new means of protection against attack on the lock - side secret pins, interactive pins, special locking systems, "floating pin" in the key of the cylinder itself, etc. The only cylinder on the market that does not have any pins and spring mechanisms is the Abloy Protec cylinder - its disc mechanism resists all known unlocking methods.
